Bill Bickford, AIA, LEED AP

FOUNDING PARTNER

A founding partner of Northworks Architects & Planners, Bill Bickford oversees a variety of residential, commercial, and institutional projects at the firm. His recently completed work includes the restoration of Graceland Chapel in Chicago, a custom residence in Hobe Sound, Florida, and a solar-powered farm development in western Wisconsin. Currently, Bill is working on various building projects for the Sand Valley Golf Resort, an executive retreat for the Sub Zero Wolf Company, a net-zero energy home in the Joshua Tree Desert, and a collection of custom residences along the North Shore of Chicago. Bill is a member of the American Institute of Architects and is licensed to practice in Illinois, Wisconsin, Missouri, Colorado, Florida, Oregon, and Wyoming. He is a LEED accredited professional and is NCARB certified. Bill received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Trinity College in Hartford, CT and his Master of Architecture degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a board member of the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, Trustee of Graceland Cemetery, and a member of the Dean’s Council of the University of Pennsylvania School of Design.
